5 Press-On Nail Brands That Give You Plenty Of Mani Choices

Press-on nails offer a world of wonder for the manicure-enthusiast. The ready-made acrylic nails attach to natural nails either through an adhesive sticker or nail glue, and can last anywhere from ten days to two weeks. Along with causing less damage to the nail bed, the process is much cheaper than a visit to the salon for a full acrylic manicure service.

The major complaint against press-on nails is that they don't last as long as actual acrylic or gel nails done by a professional at a salon. However, that seems to be changing as the technology becomes more sophisticated. Some press-on nails can last as long as two weeks with proper care. Even better, the list of pros is lengthy; for one, the average press-on nail kit costs anywhere from $10-$18, making them an economical option for those who still love to sport a fully manicured nail look. They're also easy to work with, which means that even beginners can enjoy the look of a polished, glitzy nail set.

Since press-on nails have become so popular, there are endless options on the market that suit all tastes (heck, there are even press-on toenails). Thanks to the endless range of length, designs, and shapes, you can experiment with every stunning nail trend that tickles your fancy. If you're looking to give press-on nails a try and aren't sure where to start, we've rounded up some of the best press-on nails you can buy right now. We made our selections by consulting external research, online product reviews, and feedback shared on TikTok. We used both the content of the videos themselves, as well as feedback from other users in the comments to create the most comprehensive understanding of which press-ons offered the best results.

Kiss Press-On Nails are a TikTok favorite

Kiss press-on nails did exceptionally well in terms of product reviews and customer feedback on TikTok. Beauty content creator Stephanie A had nothing but good things to say about the brand on TikTok. She explained that Kiss Gel Fantasy nails were her favorite drugstore press-ons. She praised the line's wide range of shapes and lengths, noting that it offered something for everyone. She also said that the Kiss press-ons lasted longer than she expected. Conversely, Stephanie warned against imPRESS nails, claiming that they just didn't last as long as the Kiss line.

Kiss press-on nails has also earned praise for being very economical, with individual kits costing $8.49 for a set of 28 nails at Ulta Beauty. On the Ulta Beauty website, customers had positive things to say about its longevity. "It's been well over 7 days and these nails aren't budging," one reviewer wrote. Another reviewer called Kiss' press-ons her "staple nails" and added, "I always have the short nails on hand. They last forever and look great."

A beauty reviewer for Ali Beauty Supply explained on TikTok that press-on nails need to be thick at the tip. She urged people to buy the Kiss nails that said "Sculpted Nail" on the package, claiming that they would last for up to three weeks. Per the TikToker, the tip is thick enough to withstand the wear of everyday life and won't crack or pop off. The beauty reviewer added that the glue that comes in the kit works perfectly.

Olive & June nails are the 'prettiest and most natural nails' ever

Olive & June press-on nails has received a ton of hype lately, and we understand why. The Instant Mani package comes with a huge range of nail sizes, so these are a great choice for anyone who struggles to find nails that fit their nail beds properly. A typical kit comes with 42 press-on nails in 21 sizes. They also offer an abundance of nail shapes, lengths, and colors so the options are plentiful. Reviewers also praise the nail's longevity. "These are shaped very well on the inside and are very sturdy so I got 14 full days out of them!" one fan wrote in Target's comments.

On TikTok, MiddleSizeMiddleAgeMorgann shared about her struggle to find the best nails and landed on Olive & June's kits; she loved them so much that she called them "the holy grail of instant manicures." She said that getting her nails done at the salon was too time consuming and expensive. Emphasizing that her video wasn't sponsored, she said that press-ons didn't work for her until she found Olive & June. She says using the kit allowed her manicure to last over three weeks. And with kits going for just $10 — a fraction of the cost of a manicure — it's easy to see why it was such a hit with the TikToker.

Another TikToker who goes by Vera also raved about Olive & June's press-on nails, calling them the "prettiest, most natural press-on nails" she had ever used. She added that they were durable and lovely looking.

Glamnetic nails hit all the big manicure trends

Glamnetic nails are a hot commodity online. On TikTok, Leah, who calls herself "the press-on nail queen," reviewed Glamnetic nails and said that they were one of her top press-on nail brands. The TikToker said she loves the brand because along with offering numerous trendy designs, the nails themselves are  sturdy and durable. She added that the glue that comes with the nail kit is particularly effective. Her one complaint was that Glamnetic didn't make longer nails; however, her video was posted in 2023, and it appears that Glamnetic has since remedied that problem. Per the company website, long nails in coffin and almond shapes are now available for purchase.

Others have applauded the Glamnetic's nails for being extra thick and sturdy. Under a TikTok video by Glamnetic announcing the products' debut at Ulta Beauty, one user backed this up, writing, "I'm a stylist and my hands are always wet... I will die on the [Glamnetic] hill! They last 2 weeks at least!" An Amazon reviewer had a similar experience, stating, "I'm writing this review at two weeks, no lifting or popping off so far."

Plus, Glamnetic excels at offering the nail trends of the moment. There has been a lot of hype about glazed nail manicures, and sure enough, Glamnetic offers a ton of options to get this look. The one complaint is the price. A kit, which includes 30 nails, costs $19.99, so they're more expensive than their competitors.

Bessie Nails claims to be damage-free

Bessie press-on nails are all about nail strength and care; they brand themselves as the world's first zero-damage nails. With no harsh preservatives in their nail glue, they promise no deterioration or peeling of the nail bed when you remove them. On the brand website, it also claims that you can reuse the nails 3-5 times, and that everything in the kit is recyclable. While we love eco-conscious brands, we're also curious about how long they last and what customers had to say about them.

Shoppers are genuinely impressed by the lack of damage done to their nail beds by Bessie press-ons. "uhh yup. tested it myself w/rando nail glue vs yours, & yours left me the least amt of damage," wrote one user under a TikTok video for the brand. In another video proving how tough and durable the Bessie press-ons are, someone else commented: "I had the bubble bath one for 2 weeks now! I'm literally telling everyone they NEED to try your nails."

The only hitch with Bessie nails, it seems, is the price. A nail kit featuring 24-30 nails costs $22, which is more than double the price of some of the other popular press-on kits. However, their set comes with a nail strengthening oil made with beeswax and rose extract, and that's an unusual bonus we haven't seen in many kits. The nails are also meant to be re-wearable, so that also factors into the price point. You won't have to constantly repurchase new kits.

Static Nails are great, but people suggest using a different glue

Static Nails, like the Bessie press-ons, also claims to be reusable. According to their website, each nail is expected to last for "18 days and can be reapplied up to 6x for shorter wears." They also claim to be non-damaging to the nail beds. On TikTok, people are all about the product. Samantha Purnell made a video about her Static Nails experience, and said (in her non-sponsored video) that they were the best press-ons she's ever used in her life. That's a big claim! She said that they looked as good as a $100 manicure in Miami, noting that she was on day nine with the nails and couldn't get over their durability. Purnell recommended the style called Delicate Pink Short Almond and suggested that people buy Static Nails' brush-on nail glue, as she claimed it worked better than the one in the kit.

This seemed to be a repeated message with Static Nails. According to TikTok user Camila Vilas, who created a video putting on Static Nails, it's best to not bother with the glue that comes with the kit, as it does't have a ton of staying power. Instead, Vilas said that she uses a brush-on glue by Kiss. She coats both her natural nails and adds a little glue to the press-on nail before applying.

Static Nails are a slightly more expensive than some of the other popular press-on nail sets. A typical kit costs around $18, but again, the nails are allegedly reusable, so that's meant to justify a higher price point.

How we chose our five favorite press-on nails

With the rising popularity of press-on nail kits, there are countless options on the market. We created our specific list of press-on nail kits based on extensive external reviews and customer feedback, as well as non-sponsored content on TikTok. In making our selections, we considered price points as well as ecological impact, but we also emphasized style range and size choices. In our view, a good press-on nail brand should make long-lasting nails sold at an equitable price point, and offer enough choices to suit a variety of tastes and trends. All of the brands on our list did that, which is why they made our top five press-on nail choices.

We thought it was important to include feedback that recurred in reviews. While there are always going to be different experiences with a product, not everyone is going to be happy with every single nail kit. We wanted to make audiences aware of commonly cited problems, such as issues with glue or breaking. For instance, Static Nails did really well in online reviews, but a consistent piece of feedback was that the glue included in the kit wasn't the best. This is valuable information to know, so if you like their designs enough, you can purchase a kit knowing that you may need to mix and match with other supplies.
