Want To Smell Like Florence Pugh? We Know Her Favorite Perfume

At only 28, Florence Pugh has proven she's not just a talented actress, with already one Academy Award nomination under her belt for her performance as Amy in "Little Women." She's just an all-around cool human being, and she's fearless to boot.

In 2020, Pugh posted a video on Instagram defending her relationship with her now-ex Zach Braff, after the two endured an onslaught online of hate due to their 21-year age gap. In her video, Pugh said, "I am 24 years old. I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love, and I would never in my life ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love. It's not your place, and really it has nothing to do with you," she said. "If those rules are something that you do not like, then please unfollow me, because the abuse that you throw at him is abuse that you're throwing at me, and I don't want those followers."

Any woman who is so fearless in her personal life is also very likely to be the same in her professional life. Pugh continues to push creative boundaries, and not just because she shaved her head for her role in "We Live in Time" and gave us the much-coveted velvet crop look in 2023, but because she does things on her own terms. If you adore Pugh and would like to have something in common with this icon, here's a tip: wear her favorite perfume.

Pugh actually has two perfumes always in her bag

In February 2024, Florence Pugh participated in British Vogue's "In the Bag" series in which celebrities — as the name suggests — reveal what they always have in their bag. In addition to a variety of spicy sauces, dog treats, a poop bag for her dog Billy, tea bags (because what's Brit without tea bags?), and other random essentials, Pugh shared a spray "potion" that her mother made her.

"My mom makes potions and smelly things, and she made me a spray and it's called Focus for F**k's Sake. And it's got basil, grapefruit, lime, rosemary, coriander, sage, pepper, and spearmint," Pugh said in the video where she unloaded her Valentino bag. "Some of the ingredients are from my mum's garden and she does all of the testing herself ...  And it smells really, really nice."

But if you don't have access to Pugh's mom's garden, your other option for smelling like Pugh is Coco by Chanel. "Oh yes, yummy. My little travel Coco," said Pugh while misting herself. "Delicious." With this piece of knowledge in your back pocket, you're one step closer to being just like Florence Pugh. Next step? Shave your head and embrace your super low-maintenance new look.
