Vivienne Jolie's Stunning Transformation
Youngest child to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Vivienne Marcheline Jolie is now paving her way in the world. Born with her twin brother Knox in Nice, France in July 2008, Vivienne has become a recognized name in Broadway circles. She worked with her mother on the play "The Outsiders," which Angelina co-produced; Vivienne served in production as a volunteer assistant when she was only 15. "Viv is a young artist who focuses her efforts on her support of others," Angelina told People.
It's no wonder that Vivienne has taken an interest in the theater, considering both of her parents are A-list actors. There's no denying that Angelina is a tried and true movie star, and Vivienne has taken after her mother's passion. In fact, the mother and daughter share some ink, which gives context to at least one of Angelina's many tattoos. Brad and Angelina's children have all transformed, especially in light of their contentious 2016 divorce. Their eldest daughter, Zahara Jolie, has undergone a major transformation, and like her, Vivienne has navigated some changes. Notably, Vivienne, among other siblings has dropped "Pitt" from her last name. On the playbill for "The Outsiders," Vivienne had dropped her multi-hyphenate last name and included only that of her mother. So as she shapes her identity coming into adulthood, let's look back at the transformation of this budding star.
Vivienne Jolie visits the London Aquarium with her siblings
In 2011, Angelina Jolie took children Shiloh, Zahara, Knox, and Vivienne Jolie to the London Aquarium while Brad Pitt was there filming "World War Z." The young brood held hands, and Vivienne stayed close to her mom and big sister, Zahara. Taking after her dad, Vivienne showcased bright, blonde hair as a child. She also seemed to have a flair for multiple patterns and colorful dressing. Very charming.
Vivienne Jolie navigates the Tokyo airport with her dad
In July 2013, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen leaving Tokyo with some of their children. Pitt held onto his two youngest children, Vivienne and Knox Jolie, who were only five at the time. Dressed all in white, Vivienne appears camera-shy and hides behind her dad as the family makes its way through the airport. Holding her jacket close to her chest, she certainly seems apprehensive of all the attention, and rightly so.
Vivienne Jolie joins all of her siblings at an event
In February 2019, Vivienne Jolie joined her entire brood of siblings for a screening of "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" in New York City. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce was well underway at this point, and the children showed support for their mother at the screening. Vivienne and Knox were ten at the time, and appeared to be comfortable in the spotlight. No doubt, having all of their siblings present made the attention a little less stressful.
Vivienne Jolie walks the red carpet with her family
In October 2021, Vivienne Jolie joined her mother at the Los Angeles premiere of "Eternals," a film where Angelina Jolie played the character Thena. Vivienne, who was 13 at the time, was joined by all of her siblings except older brother Pax. Vivienne kept things simple in a neutral dress with white sneakers. Meanwhile, older sister Zahara sparked conversation by wearing her mom's famous Elie Saab Couture gown, which Angelina had worn to the Academy Awards in 2014. Imagine the hand-me-down possibilities when your mom is Angelina Jolie!
Vivienne Jolie goes out for a night with her mom
On April 11, 2024, Angelina Jolie and Vivienne Jolie attended the opening night of "The Outsiders" in New York City. While Angelina stuck to her usual, neutral glam, Vivienne kept things fresh by wearing a blue jumpsuit and showcasing her longer hair. Angelina told Deadline that it was Vivienne who got her interested in the play. "My daughter Viv loves theater," Angelina said. "She appreciates all theater but she certainly knows what she feels close to and what she responds to. She went to see The Outsiders at La Jolla about five times and was telling me about it, and I had read the book, and I'd seen the film years ago." It was because of Vivienne's interest that Angelina decided to get involved and produce the Broadway musical. What a great bonding experience for the mother and daughter.
