Miley Cyrus Is Gorgeous Without Makeup

Miley Cyrus went from child star to powerhouse vocalist as she made her own mark on the music industry. Several years after her stint as a Disney Channel star in her hit series "Hannah Montana," alongside her father Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley released "Bangerz," which featured the breakout hit "Wrecking Ball." The video for "Wrecking Ball," showed Miley breaking free from her Disney image with the emotional depth of her vocals and her nudity demonstrating her growth as an artist.

Since then, Miley has not been afraid to push the envelope, especially when it comes to her look. Her social media showed that she loves a bold eye with mascara, along with a bold or nude lip. Miley's barely-there makeup looks are also stunning, so it's no surprise that without makeup, she is still a goddess. 

In a photo posted to her X account in 2019, Miley Cyrus shared a makeup-free selfie as she stood in her bathroom. In the pic, Cyrus can be seen sporting a black Alice Cooper t-shirt, accessorizing with dozens of gold bracelets on both wrists and a gold chain choker. Her hair was slightly wild, but looked an awful like her Disney alter ego Hannah Montana. She even captioned the photo: "Hannah is punk now!"

While talking to ELLE, Miley Cyrus admitted that her relationship with her skin had come a long way following a struggle with acne. She said her beauty routine has become a form of self-love. "You're taking time out of your day to check in with yourself mentally and physically,' she told the outlet. And she recalled that her time on "Hannah Montana" taught her about the importance of consistency when it comes to skincare.

Miley Cyrus told Harper's Bazaar that her physical appearance is an extension of her creativity. This couldn't have been more true in a selfie she shared on X in 2019 that showed her makeup-free in the studio, sporting a simple white tank top. Her skin was radiant and we're sure she created magic behind the lens.

Cyrus told Harper's in that same interview that when it comes to makeup, over time she learned to keep things simple. "More isn't always better, it's only more," she said. And this photo showed no makeup is beautiful too. Cyrus also said that once she focused more on her mental and emotional care, her beauty "radiated" through her. She also added that her physical appearance is an extension of her creativity. Cyrus has taken her love for skincare to new levels, at one point partnering with Hims & Hers in 2021 on a customizable skincare line, according to Glitter Magazine.

Miley Cyrus' great complexion was on full display in a photo she shared on X in 2019 during a scenic hike. Cyrus was all good vibes as she stood totally bare-faced with a gorgeous mountainous view in the background. Not to mention, the star was also giving body in a backward baseball cap, black sports bra and Nike shorts that peaked beneath black and white Adidas track pants. "Life's a climb...but the view is great," she captioned the photo. And we couldn't agree more.
