Reba McEntire Is Still Stunning Without Makeup

Reba McEntire is undeniably an icon who proves age ain't nothin' but a number! With countless accolades from decades of hits, the country music star is not only in her element when she's behind the microphone, but also when she's all glammed up. Still, McEntire doesn't need a full face of makeup or designer gown to look stunning. In recent years, the star has proved she looks just as great going au naturel. 

McEntire has appeared in some highly styled looks over the years. Back in 1993, the "The Voice" judge had people talking when she rocked a sparkly red gown to the Country Music Awards, which featured red mesh over a deep V-neck that showed off some serious cleavage. Not to mention, that big hair was everything! McEntire recalled the look during an interview at Yahoo Entertainment saying that at the time she was "pretty straight-laced ... it was pretty scandalous for me."

Though the singer is way more than her looks, she admitted it's been a long journey for her to feel confident in herself. In an interview with E! News, she talked about her beauty struggles growing up, saying that she was "pale, [had] lots of freckles and frizzy hair," while her friends had long, dark, straight hair and could tan easily. She commended the younger generation for being more confident than she was, adding that it "takes guts, it takes stamina and it takes courage to be comfortable in your own skin." Now in her 60s, McEntire is showing off her hard-fought confidence by going makeup-free at times, and she looks just as beautiful as ever.

Reba McEntire is all about family and honoring her roots. In a photo she posted to her Instagram in 2020, she proudly stood next to her partner Rex Linn, who was holding a hen next to a wooden shed. "The Tots, Sugar and Tater, have taken up farming. Meet Mr. Pecker," she captioned the happy moment, all the while absolutely glowing without makeup! Clearly, a great skincare routine is a priority for the country star.

Being a superstar means you get to take glamorous trips around the world. In June 2024, Reba McEntire shared a photo that featured her and family during a trip to an African safari. In the photo, the songstress kept it comfy in a blue shirt beneath a dark jacket and jeans, plus a hat. McEntire was a sight for sore eyes beneath the stunning sunset.

It should come as no surprise that Reba McEntire is all for an old fashioned day in the sun with loved ones. In a photo she posted to Instagram in October 2020, McEntire looked in her element while sitting next to her partner Rex Linn. She looked stunning in her oversized sunglasses and cowboy-esque sunhat, which had the added benefit of protecting her skin from the sun. 

Reba McEntire is always on the go, at least based on the photos she shares on her social media, which show her dipping her toes in just about everything. But you can tell that she takes the time she needs to be present for herself and her family. McEntire looked like a beauty in a photo she posted in July 2019 in Colorado, noting in the caption that she was taking the time to relax with her friends and family.
