5 Times Brittany Mahomes Mastered Monochromatic Dressing

We can't get enough of Brittany Mahomes' outfits, especially when she goes monochromatic. Whether it's in an all-red ensemble to support her hubby Patrick's team the Kansas City Chiefs or head-to-toe purple for the Kentucky Derby, the star knows how to stun in a single color.

No matter where she is, Brittany continues to stun. Whether she's partying with Swift, working out, or playing with her kids, this W.A.G. slays and sparkles. Even when Mahomes doesn't have makeup on, she looks flawless and lovely. While there are so many great looks to admire from Brittany, she nails an outfit in a single tone. A great way to master monochromatic dressing is by imagining an outfit as a paint card sample. Aim for gradations of one tone, from dark to light. This way, the outfit has some variation. Brittany Mahomes' executed this flawlessly on January 23, 2022 as seen in an upload to her Instagram. She added the caption: "Is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S." Clearly, Mahomes was playing with the variations of yellow, donning a canary coat and mustard-toned turtleneck. 

When your hubby plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, going full red is the right choice. For the 2024 Super Bowl, Brittany Mahomes wore a full-length latex jumpsuit that matched perfectly with the red on her husband's jersey. The jumpsuit was custom made for the big game and had "Mahomes" in white letters on the leg with the number 15 on the other side; a tribute to her husbanda's jersey number. That juicy, candy apple getup was just the ticket, as the Chiefs won that game. Maybe Brittany's monochromatic outfit was the magic touch. 

When Brittany and Patrick Mahomes went to Coachella in 2022, the star went monochromatic in a much edgier way. Sharing the cute pics to Instagram on April 16, 2022, Mahomes showed off her look, consisting of black Chelsea boots with black hot pants and a black bandeau. To make things even more matchy-matchy, she carried a pair of black sunglasses. Getting totally into the California vibe, she polished things off by slipping an onyx crochet cover-up on top. Mahomes and her husband had married just a few months prior, on March 12, 2022, in Hawaii, so Brittany's all-black fit was a striking juxtaposition from her wedding dress. 

For her first baby shower in December 2020, Brittany Mahomes dressed it up right in a metallic pink outfit. To keep the elements monochromatic, she paired her shimmering dress with silver and pink bracelets, which matched perfectly. Even her jewelry was done right. At the time, she was anticipating the arrival of her first child, daughter Sterling Skye, who was born on February 20, 2021. Judging from all the pink in the photo, there's no doubt that Brittany was excited to welcome her baby girl! 

For a night out in Las Vegas in February 2024, Brittany Mahomes put silver to full effect by wearing an entire outfit in the metallic tone. Brittany was celebrating her Sports Illustrated debut at the XS night club. To mark the occasion, Brittany opted for a sheer mini-dress in cutouts that looked like a mermaid's tail. She wore silver, strappy sandals and a silver bag. The look was festive and sexy, making it a perfect choice for that night!
