Brittany Mahomes' Outdated All-White Super Bowl 2025 Outfit Has Us Cringing

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year, so imagine spending weeks planning for the perfect outfit only to be criticized for a "cringe" look. Ouch! If you don't know what that's like, just turn to Brittany Mahomes, whose gameday outfit totally missed the mark. The wife of the star quarterback Patrick Mahomes attended the game only to witness her husband's team get dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles.

While 2025 Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts' fiance, Bryonna "Bry" Burrows, is getting attention for all the right reasons –leading a private life and looking super chic for the big game — Brittany Mahomes is garnering attention for quite the opposite. Her all-white Super Bowl outfit had a lot of people wincing, as she wore an outdated, super-cropped denim jacket over a skin-tight corset, and jeans customized with the word "Chiefs" written vertically on the lower leg. Oh, and white shoes, too. 

Apparently, the monochromatic look wasn't enough for Brittany, as she accessorized with a $73,000 lab-grown diamond necklace, making her seem even more elitist. The most liked comment on one TikTok video was a user saying, "I love how it always looks like she got dressed in the dark." Yikes. Still, while the majority consensus was that the outfit felt cringey and outdated, some thought it was the perfect big game day look. The Super Bowl is a star-studded event, so we're hoping someone famous gave Brittany a compliment on her outfit of choice. 

Brittany Mahomes' flashy outfit choices are one thing, but she's also attracted a lot of public scrutiny for a slew of other controversial takes, including her choice to defend her brother-in-law in 2023 when he was accused of sexual assault.

Brittany, who is a known Trump supporter, also became the butt of the joke when reports surfaced online that she was reconsidering her support after the president's attacks on Taylor Swift. Sure, it's great to see her trying to be a good friend to the superstar, but fans weren't having it. One Reddit user commented that Brittany could "excuse multiple felonies, sexual assaults, impeachments and an insurrection, but draw(s) the line at being mean to Taylor Swift." 

In addition, it seems Brittany's retreat from Trump may have been overstated, since the president was spotted stopping by the Mahomes' suite at the 2025 Super Bowl to greet the family. To make matters worse, Brittany is allegedly unpleasant to employees and doesn't tip well — if she tips at all — according to one LA hotel worker, Jessica O'Connor, who shared her personal experience on TikTok. Another TikTok video captured Brittany's abrasive interaction with a Chiefs' staff member in 2024.

As the partner of an NFL player, you don't have to be at the center of attention. Just look at wives and girlfriends like Burrows and Kylie Kelce. You can choose to lead a quiet life. Brittany Mahomes seems to seek out and enjoy the attention she gets, however. She loves to be in the spotlight, never misses an opportunity to pose for a picture with her star husband in flashy outfits, and flaunts her life on the daily via her Instagram account. Having amassed more than 2 million followers, she has definitely become some sort of a celebrity.

However, being famous comes with a lot of baggage — particularly public scrutiny. This is especially true when you are as outspoken as Brittany is and like to share the lavish life you live. As the mother of three proudly posted #OOTD shots of herself at the big game, people had a lot to say. And not one of the top comments was a positive one. 

One user commented, "Trump cursed the boys with his endorsement," and another wrote, "This is what you are posting when the team is down 24-0 at halftime?" Both comments garnered thousands of likes. As much as she enjoys the spotlight, Brittany may need to work on strengthening herself to withstand a ton of hostility.
