Will Donald Trump Declare War And Attack North Korea? | Trump’s ‘Fire And Fury’ Threats And Tweets
It's safe to say President Trump's threats against North Korea are making Americans nervous. While on a working vacation, Trump has kept busy by engaging in a series of back and forth threats with the North Korean government.
Which raises an important question: Will Donald Trump declare war and attack North Korea? Should Trump's "fire and fury" threats and tweets be taken seriously?
Will Donald Trump declare war and attack North Korea?
While North Korea has threatened the United States on multiple occasions in recent history, it has never followed through with any of them.
The U.S. actually remains the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons on the battlefield (against Hiroshima and Nagasaki).
Despite Trump's recent threats, the United States does not want to attack North Korea and risk escalating into nuclear war.

North Korea has now stated that it is "carefully considering" a missile strike on the U.S. after President Trump said, "North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen."
Wednesday morning, Trump doubled down on his threats via Twitter:
My first order as President was to renovate and modernize our nuclear arsenal. It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 9, 2017
...Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 9, 2017
In the event of full-blown war between North Korea and the United States, we can only hope that the United States military is strong enough that there will be no need to resort to nuclear weapons.
Until then, Americans will be anxiously waiting to see what these two countries' unpredictable leaders threaten next.
