About Shelley Wade
Shelley is the host of the city’s newest major commercial radio station, 94.7 The Block, New York’s #1 for Throwbacks.
Shelley has always been passionate about music and entertainment. Filled with the passion to follow her dreams, she studied radio & TV in high school & college. Her successful professional career began in her hometown, Houston when she hit the airwaves on station 97.9 The Box Houston. After Houston, she went on to 104.3 MYfm Los Angeles and was the first African American to host a full-time show on Z100 New York.
Her entertainment career not only includes being the host of various radio stations, she is also a TV personality and podcast host. Shelley was previously the host of All the Rage with Shelley Wade, she is now currently the host of All the Way with Shelley Wade.
She has become a well-known entertainment journalist who has interviewed celebrities for years such as Beyoncé to Bieber and LL to J LO.
Shelley is also known for being a voice-over artist. Her many accomplishments includes being the official announcer for the Gracie Awards 2022 and the voice for Chevron S.T.E.M. youth education project.
Shelly has also appeared on the Today Show on NBC, The Talk on CBS, the Steve Harvey Show, CNN, MSNBC, Access Hollywood, Inside Edition and more!
