About Tahiirah Habibi

Tahiirah Habibi is a pioneer, Sommelier and Founder of The Hue Society. For a very long time, she has advocated for more Black, Brown, and Indigenous representation in the wine industry. In order to break cultural boundaries/stigmas, Tahiirah founded The Hue Society back in 2017. She wanted to create a safe space for the community to learn, commune and find resources in one place.

Tahiirah is also the founder and creator of the Wine + Cultural Festival which is dedicated to consumer education, brand awareness, industry advancement, and cultural experiences through the black lens. The festival surrounds their guests with a community that advocates economic inclusion and recognition. The Wine + Cultural Festival includes wine tasting and many enjoyable social events!

Tahiirah has become the first Black woman to grace the cover of Wine Enthusiasts Magazine. She was also named on the prestigious 40 under 40 list.

Come celebrate National Wine Day this year with Women.com and Sommelier, Tahiirah Habibi!
