The Best Books The Kardashians Have Recommended

When you think of celebrity book clubs, you probably think of Reese's Book Club or Jenna Bush Hager's Read with Jenna from "Today" before you think of the Kardashians. But, back in early 2017, Kim Kardashian nearly had her own book club with Chrissy Teigen."[It] never took off because we were lazy," she admitted on her app in 2018, per People. But don't let that fool you into thinking the famous family isn't still reading. Kim and her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, are quite avid readers, with Kim even telling Vogue France in 2023, "I like to read. I always have books [in my bag]."

Kim Kardashian recommended Embraced by the Light by Betty J. Eadie

One of Kim Kardashian's favorite books is Betty J. Eadie's "Embraced By The Light." In January 2017, the reality star wrote on X that Eadie was her "favorite author" and shared that she was lucky enough to have met her. "[It's] about her near-death experience & it's helped me live my life in such a full way," she wrote. The following month, Kim confirmed it was her then-book club's first assignment. She later shared on her now-defunct app that she felt a special connection to the book because her late dad, Robert Kardashian, encouraged her to read it. "He said that it's a fascinating story about a woman who dies during surgery, goes to heaven and remembers her whole experience and came back to life to share all of her experiences," Kim explained (via AOL). "It just gives me tools on how to live a better life here and live life to its potential and just be more spiritual and one with God," she continued, sharing that she re-read the book as a parent and gained a different perspective on it.

Khloe Kardashian added Mandy Len Catron's How To Fall In Love With Anyone to her summer beach read list

Khloe Kardashian has taught us some tough lessons about love, so it's not too surprising she put a book focused on the subject on her 2017 beach reads list. "How to Fall in Love with Anyone" by Mandy Len Catron is a memoir told through a collection of essays inspired by the divorce of the author's parents. "In many ways, it felt like I didn't have a good understanding of love, how it works and how it's supposed to work," Catron explained to NBC News. "I felt like their divorce was the wrong ending to their love story, and I started thinking about all the ways that stories influence our thinking about love and relationships."

If there's one celebrity to turn to for a self-help book recommendation, it's Khloe Kardashian. "My name is Khloé, and I'm a self-help book addict. Seriously!" she even wrote in a 2015 blog post on her since-deleted website (via Us Weekly). That year, the "Kocktails with Khloe" host shared several of her favorite self-help books with the world, praising Steve Harvey's 2014 non-fiction, "Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success: Discovering Your Gift and the Way to Life's Riches."
