From the first day we were introduced to Zahara Jolie, in 2005 when she was adopted by Angelina Jolie, she's shown a flair for fashion. As a toddler, the famous daughter was adorable in everything from cute dresses and sandals to casual tops and jeans. Since then, Zahara has come into her own spotlight. These days, she rocks show-stopping gowns and makes serious red carpet statements. 

The Ethiopian beauty's reputation as a fashionista is quite a feat considering Zahara doesn't live life in the spotlight — despite being a member of one of the most famous families in the world. "None of my children want to be in front of the camera [at] this time. They're quite private," her mother Angelina Jolie told "Good Morning America" in November 2024. "They weren't born with privacy, right? So, I hope that they can have that as they grow old."

But even though Zahara may not be the most visible or attention-seeking celebrity child, she's certainly proven herself to be one of the most fashionable. Her enviable wardrobe includes some stunning outfits we'll never forget.

Zahara Jolie stepped out in Washington, D.C. in 2009 in a casual outfit that rivalled fellow fashionable A-List kid Suri Cruise's style. Her parents put her in a cute cream cardigan over a spotted grey top and grey leggings, adding folded down cream socks and glitzy, sparkly, grey Mary Janes. But it's likely she added the fabulous gold-rimmed sunglasses and pink kitty face-shaped bracelet herself, which elevated this look from basic to sassy and stylish (while still age appropriate). It was a major fashion moment, as it marked the first time we saw the then 3-year-old inject her fun, youthful personality into her own wardrobe. We can only imagine the fabulous memes had the candid photos of the youngster been taken just a few years later.

Posing on the red carpet alongside her mom Angelina Jolie, siblings, and artist Prune Nourry for the opening of MoMA's documentary fortnight in February 2019, Zahara Jolie wowed in white dress featuring a shiny, black sequin pattern not everyone could pull off. The quirky dress worked for the event and her age, but she made it clear a simple color palette doesn't have to be boring or predictable. She added unexpected black, chunky, mid-calf combat boots that made her aesthetic feel more youthful and edgy. Though she co-ordinated with her siblings' dark garb, the number made her stand out in an authentic way that didn't feel forced or over-styled.

She posed alongside Angelina Jolie and her bother Maddox Jolie-Pitt in the halterneck ensemble, which finished at her mid-thigh but featured a totally sheer, scalloped edge lace skirt that finished at her ankles. What made this dress remarkable is that it was so unexpected, as the dress was super sophisticated and sultry for a teen, particularly with her pointed-toe, black heels. It also made an impact because of Zahara's stand-out tresses, as she sported super long braids that faded from black into blond, making the single color outfit more exciting.

Angelina has always made a point of allowing her kids to dress in a way that feels authentic and comfortable. "I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not," she told Reuters in 2010. Zahara didn't act in the movie, but fans could be forgiven for thinking she did. She looked like a movie star in the hard to forget structured, layered, black princess gown that featured small, shiny, silver dots. The fashionista wore her hair down in long braids and added shiny green nail polish to make a serious fashion statement.

The dress was in stark contrast to her siblings' casual attire, proving Zahara wouldn't let anyone dull her sparkle (literally). Shiloh Jolie wore a zippered jacket, white shirt, dark pants, and sneakers, while Knox Jolie was smart in a monochrome, black suit, shirt, and boots. His twin, Vivienne Jolie — who's had a stunning style transformation — was comfy in a white t-shirt under a black jumpsuit and sneakers. Zahara clearly took after her mom in the daring fashion department, as Angelina wore an elegant, light silver gown with beaded embellishments and a gold, corset-esque structure over her torso.

During a family outing in Paris, France in July 2021, Zahara Jolie wore a dress with accessories that shouldn't have worked on paper, but she pulled it off. The long, balloon sleeve, bright green dress featured a dark green, red, orange, pink, blue, and yellow leaf-print, with ruffles on the shoulders and the ends of the sleeves. The vibrant colors complimented her skin tone and the tailored fit and V-neck were incredibly flattering. But we were particularly impressed by her red top handle bag. It would have been easy to default to a nude or black clutch, but Zahara's bold accessory proved she wasn't scared to take a fashion risk. 

To avoid adding even more color into the already busy ensemble, she paired the maxi with clean, white lace-up sneakers that acted as a neutral and kept her comfortable. This look confirmed Zahara's street style is just as strong as her red carpet looks.

A major eco-fashion statement was made in October 2021 when Zahara Jolie recycled one of Angelina Jolie's most memorable dresses. Zahara borrowed the sheer and beaded Elie Saab Couture gown her mom wore to the 2014 Oscars for the Hollywood premiere of "Eternals." The stunning, shimmering dress featured mesh across her chest and rows of delicate silver and gold beading all the way down. "My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff," Angelina told Entertainment Tonight. Zahara Jolie posed alongside her mom at Variety's Power Of Women event in September 2021 and made a case for ignoring the old no white after Labor Day rule. Her all-white style still worked despite summer technically ending a few days earlier. The teen tucked a mid-sleeved top into high-waisted cream pants, and the slightly different colors and textures gave the outfit dimension. She highlighted her middle with a chunky belt that cemented her trendsetter status, as statement belts become a huge accessory trend in spring 2024. The beauty ensured she stayed comfortable in matching sneakers, showing us she'd mastered both super glam and casual on the red carpet. Zahara Jolie attended the Rome premiere of "Eternals" with Angelina Jolie and sister, Shiloh Jolie, in a white dress with a sweetheart neckline and criss-cross panels of gold sequins over her decolletage. The warm metallic addition was gorgeous against her skin tone and made what would otherwise have been a simple column dress far more eye-catching and fun. The understated elegance and lighter color ensured all eyes were on her, which isn't easy when your mom is one the most famous women in the world. Zahara made the glitzy number extra special because she knew not to over-accessorize it, which would have been distracting. She wore understated rings, earrings and a simple hair accessory, but the most beautiful addition was her gorgeous natural tresses.

For a 2023 Vogue photo shoot, Zahara Jolie showed she doesn't need a lot of color, sparkles, and prints to look beautiful. In a video created by her brother, Pax Jolie, and shared on Vogue's Instagram, she proved white is her color in a simple, classy, and elegant bridal-inspired dress with short sleeves and a wide neck. Zahara paired the silky Grecian-style gown with barely-there black heels that showed her matching, white pedicure, proving she thought enough about the look to match her nail polish. She wore her long hair in glam waves and accessorized with a delicate necklace and earrings that added to the dainty retro vibes.

Her outfit appeared to be inspired by Angelina Jolie (which can't be a bad thing considering she was one of our best dressed stars of 2024). Angelina is well-known for her vintage, Old Hollywood-inspired hair, makeup, and fashion, and the mother-daughter duo almost matched on the red carpet as the mom of six also wore a white gown. Yet, Zahara still blazed her own fashion trail. She accessorized with a septum piercing and nose stud, which added edge, modernity, and personality to the classic gown that could have easily aged her.
