Jenna Bush Hager is a "Today" star who's stunning without makeup because she isn't afraid to let her skin breathe. But it's not always been that way. In 2024, she admitted she started experimenting at 11 but didn't have the application skills she needed. "We were going to church and I put on some makeup, all over my face, and I think it looked clown-like," she joked on "Today." "My father was like, 'Now we're going to be late for church.' I had to go wash my makeup off," she recalled. Things are very different for her and husband Henry Chase Hager's little girl Mila Hager, though. The anchor said her daughter was so talented at 11 she'd allow her to be her makeup artist. That won't be necessary though, because we know the former first daughter is beautiful without any help. The NBC star's sans cosmetics moments prove her skin glows without foundation and she doesn't need to try the orange concealer hack to banish dark circles.

She made that clear in a candid 2023 TikTok that showed her au naturel in bed while discussing her night routine. Hager didn't have a single blemish and still wowed with full brows as she wore her hair pulled back with clear-rimmed glasses. But that's not the only time we've seen this star proudly step in front of the camera without her signature morning show glam.

Jenna Bush Hager showed us what she looks like as she prepares for "Today" in a behind the scenes TikTok video posted in 2024. "Morning, guys. I just left the gym," Hager said as she walked around the NBCs show's hallways. Her glowing complexion proved why not wearing makeup to the gym can be incredibly beneficial for the skin. "It's early. This is what I look like before," she continued, before taking her followers into the glam room.

But while she has to wear heavy cosmetics when she's working, Hager doesn't like to wear a lot when she's not.
