Reba McEntire's Refreshing Stance On Plastic Surgery

Reba McEntire has been in the spotlight for decades but barely seems to have aged, so it's no surprise the country music superstar has been subject to a few plastic surgery rumors. Has she ever had a nip and tuck, though? McEntire told OK! in 2009 that going under the knife isn't for her, but shared a refreshing stance by admitting she has no issue with others doing what makes them feel confident.

"I think plastic surgery's great if that's what you want to do," she said, but confirmed she doesn't even get Botox (which can actually have health benefits). "I just don't do it. Everybody else can, it's fine with me. I don't," the "Turn On The Radio" singer said. "It's botulism, so I didn't want to put that in my body," she added.

Being considerate of other people's choices is a stance McEntire's undertaken in other aspects of her life too. Speaking to Out in 2009 about her support for the LGBTQ+ community, she shared, "I just try not to judge. Don't judge me, and I won't judge you. And that's what it says in the Bible — don't judge. Keep an open mind." Though we're sure that open-mindedness and love for others contributes to McEntire being beautiful on the inside and out, she also swears by a few non-invasive beauty tips.

How Reba McEntire stays looking young without plastic surgery

Though Reba McEntire probably won't be booking a Botox or plastic surgery appointment anytime soon, that doesn't mean she's not interested in beauty treatments. A source told Radar Online in 2023 of her youthful looks, "She owes it to weekly facials, body wraps, hot saunas, and other spa treatments. Reba buys the best cleansers and moisturizers and serums money can buy, including spending thousands a month on skincare products." In 2019, "The Voice" coach told Closer that she uses FarmHouse Fresh's Watercress Hydration Cascade moisturizer, and that she has a particular penchant for Hydrafacial treatments "to give my skin an extra hug of plumpness." It's one of many go-to treatments to try if you have dehydrated skin.

The music legend has also credited a very regimented skincare routine for helping her look so good, including removing her cosmetics properly each night because it's just not worth it to sleep with makeup on. "I wash my face in the morning ... and moisturize very well," she told OK!, noting she knows the importance of applying SPF products — even in the winter. "I get facials as regularly as I can, and drink lots of water. And I do take fish oils," she added.

But the star has another secret for her youthful glow that's more important than any beauty treatment. "Staying happy does help [keep me young]. I think it's very important to be of good mental attitude," McEntire told ABC News in 2015. And we couldn't agree more.
