Emme Muniz Takes After Mom Jennifer Lopez With Their Ever-Evolving Hair Styles

Jennifer Lopez has had a stunning hair transformation and her child Emme Muniz clearly takes after her in that department. J-Lo and Marc Anthony's child may not be regularly pouring their heart out on social media or in interviews, but, just like the "Ain't Your Mama" hitmaker, they certainly aren't shy about expressing themselves with their locks. Almost every time we see them out they give us new, cool hairdo inspo that feels edgy yet authentic.

But while Lopez and Muniz both love to experiment with their ever changing their manes, Muniz told "Access Hollywood" in 2020 they blaze their own trail away from their mom's Hollywood waves, blond and brond colors, and traditionally glamorous niche. "I have many different aesthetics that I want to go for," they shared, noting when asked about borrowing garments from their mom's closet, "We have very different styles." Muniz has proven that on multiple occasions, as they've tried various 'dos we "Can't Get Enough" of. From bold shades, to cropped curls, to gorgeous ringlets, Muniz's ever-evolving hairstyles a sight to behold.

When Emme Muniz was 11 in 2019, they proudly wore their gorgeous, textured hair. Muniz was photographed on the streets of New York with gorgeous, shoulder length curls, which appeared to be their mane's natural form. Their dark brunette locks had plenty of enviable volume from its modern center part, which kept things understated, easy, and youthful.

By 2020, Emme Muniz was growing into a young adult with their own style. In a virtual interview with Access Hollywood, they wore their dark locks in a casual up-do with a couple of strands handing down to frame their face. Their natural curls were still intact, but they walked on the wild side while out with Jennifer Lopez with a few deep pink strands painted into their bangs. The daring hairstyle demonstrated Muniz's awakened creativity and proved they weren't afraid to make a statement.

A source told Life & Style the year prior that Muniz had become more interested in expressing themselves via their appearance. "[Emme] is into experimenting with different hair colors and quirky makeup techniques," they said. "Emme has inherited [their] mom J-Lo's creative flair."

Blue hair, don't care! Emme Muniz's ever-evolving hair journey took a dramatic turn in 2021 via their most striking color; a short, blue 'do with a green tint. Muniz didn't take after Lopez, who looks totally different without extensions, with long locks. Instead, they styled their short, rounded cut into a center part, giving it a retro vibe. We love that the teen felt comfortable trying something so out there and give props to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for being so supportive of Muniz's quirky expression. Having the confidence to do something so different, Muniz was more beautiful than ever.

Emme Muniz had toned down the bold haircuts and colors by 2025, but continued to carve out an edgy niche. Their creativity and dedication to self-expression was more obvious than ever at the opening night of "Othello," where they posed alongside their mom. Muniz was back to brunette and their dark tresses were the shortest we'd seen in years. They wowed with the long, choppy pixie; a great, low-maintenance haircut that complimented their androgynous, pinstriped suit and tie look.
