Courteney Cox Still Looks Gorgeous Without Makeup
Courteney Cox is gorgeous without makeup, but that's not brand new information. The former "Friends" and "Cougar Town" star may not go totally natural in public very often, but she has shown us how beautiful she is without cosmetics on more than one occasion. In 2022, she appeared in an Instagram video proudly showing her bare face without any foundation or her signature smudgy eyeliner. The actor sat down in the makeup chair and told her followers, "My favorite part of the day is having my glam team get me ready." Her skin was enviably clear as she leaned into the camera, showing that she clearly wasn't in need of any treatments for skin discoloration. Even before her makeup team filled them, Cox's dark brunette eyebrows were defined and arched, suggesting she may partake in eyebrow tinting. She proved the theory that brows should be sisters, not twins, as one arch was slightly higher than the other but still framed her face beautifully.
After sitting down in the makeup chair, Cox sped up the video to show her glam team at work. They applied undereye patches to keep her skin hydrated and layered on full-coverage foundation alongside glossy, pink lip products. But the actor wasn't transforming into her usual glam self as the session was intended to make her look older, likely for a role. The star's hair had grey patches and faux dark circles appeared under her eyes that were far more dramatic than when she's au naturel. She joked at the end of the clip, "I hate it," and also teased in the caption, "They're fired." When Cox does her own makeup though, things look very different.
Courteney Cox showed her natural beauty while talking fans through her makeup must haves
Just like long-time friend, Jennifer Aniston, who has made her own impact on the beauty world, Cox has become well-known for her aspirational complexion. That was evident a year before her no-makeup Instagram video, when she offered fans a glimpse into her skincare regimen in a Facebook video for British Vogue. The "Friends" actor showed fans her glowing, clean complexion before applying any concealer, mascara, or blush. She then talked fans through her five-minute cosmetics routine, explaining she'd gotten blue eyeliner tattooed onto her upper lashline, but regretted the choice. "I hate it. I don't recommend that," she said. She used a brown eyeliner pencil to cover her regret, but didn't add any eyeshadow on her lids. Fans were particularly taken by Cox's smooth, wrinkle-free skin and naturally flushed cheeks, as the actor was in her mid-50s at the time. "Wow what amazing skin," one fan commented on the upload, while another wrote, "Beautiful skin and stunning eyes."
The products the "Scream" star used for her quick gussy up included Stila's Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream (which she used to warm up her complexion around her cheeks, chin, and nose), and Koh Gen Do Moisture Fit Concealer mixed with Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation.
Cox has opened up about her changing appearance beyond makeup a few times, including telling The Times in 2022 she regretted getting injectables. "I didn't realize that, oh s**t, I'm actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now," she said. But no matter if this talented actor is with or without makeup or what beauty treatments she may be getting, she still looks gorgeous.
